We had dinner at the One-Ninety Restaurant Four Seasons Hotel Singapore during one of the lazy night. We had done a full day of shopping and was back to the hotel to rest. We were just lazy to walk out again for dinner as it was raining lightly as well.
The restaurant is quite huge and most people sitting near the entrance and it was quite empty inside.
The restaurant was offering half buffet as you can have the starters and desserts as many as you want and you can choose one main course from the menu. We did not choose this option and we went for Ala cart option.
Bread was served right after we ordered. The bread was warm and it was crispy outside and very soft inside. A good touch of using warm butter here rather than icy hard cold butter.
We have ordered the char kuey toew, a local Malaysian and Singaporean fried noodles. It was a bit too oily for my liking. I do like that they used the Chinese pork sausage in it, it brings out a lot of the favour. But it still cannot beat the char kuey toew I had in Penang Island.
The special Four Seasons Singapore Hotel Curry Laksa Noodles. The soup was very thick with taste of spices and coconut milk. We had the Singaporean noddles with the laksa.
The grilled lobster. The lobster were very fresh and I do like the grilled veggies at the side.
The grilled ribeyes in Medium Rare. It was cooked in perfection, I hate that I requested medium rare and sometimes I will get medium or medium well. Which is very frustrating, the steak here however were very good.
My friends was mentioning that the Hainan Chicken Rice in Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is very tasty. I have ordered one to share with my family. The oil rice was very flavourful with the chicken essences and the chicken oil. The steamed chicken were very soft and tasty as well.
Of course we were finishing the meal with dessert. I ordered the popcorn sundae. It was interesting to eat the popcorn with the ice cream. As the popcorn was a bit salty and the ice cream was sweet and cold. The combination was a good interesting to me.
We had the cheesecake as well. It was just a normal piece of cheesecake with rich flavour of cheese.
