I was meeting my Singaporean friend in The Coffee Academics at Scotts Square Singapore for brunch, apparently they served really good brunch and my friend really wanted to try it.

We ordered one small bite - Fried Chicken and Squid Ink Egglet. The chicken was marinated in spiced buttermilk, deep fried tender chicken thigh served with squid ink eaglet and a drizzle of dijon honey. It might look good but the taste was just ok, nothing impressive about it.
We have ordered an Angus Beef Burger to share as well. The Angus beef patty tipped with creamy cheese sauce, portobello mushroom, jalapeƱo, cheddar cheese, gherkins, tomato, lettuce and a sunny side up egg. served on a charcoal bun with a side of curly fries and seasonal greens.
The burger was just normal burger and the Angus beef patty was slightly overcooked for my liking.
I have ordered a Manuka Cappuccino, and I don't like it at all.
