I have heard of Kfry Urban Korean fried chicken from my friends, but I don’t have the opportunities to try it out. I was in KLCC running some errands with my sister and we were thinking to try something new. I told my sister about the new (not quite new actually) Korean fried chicken place opposite Texas Chicken at LG Suria KLCC.
The seating area and the drinks counter with the korean words on the wall
We have ordered several dishes to try them out and I will start with the drinks we ordered
The Peach Mojito mocktail
The Korean canned beverages Bong Bong white grape drink. There’s actually white grape in the drink
And here come the food:
The K’ Fries Kimgary Fries, basically fries with seaweed powder. I kind of like it
The Kimchi Chicken Dosirak. Dosirak is bento in Korean. Basically you want to break the egg into the rice and then shake the Dosirak and mix everything well. The chicken was quite good and it wasn’t dry at all.
Honey butter chicken wings. Here come my favourite of the night. The chicken wings was so juicy and I really love the honey butter taste. It did taste a bit of garlic and it goes really well with the honey.
The cheesy fried chicken Bumbuk. The waiter told us that we can mix the favours, hence I have ordered the original and the spicy. She first take the fries and chicken away, grill the cheese on the pan and coated the chicken with the cheese. I was talking to the waiter and totally forgotten to snap a picture of the fried chicken coated with cheese. The chicken was very juicy and I like it with the cheese wrapped on it.
I really enjoy my experience with kfry urban Korean, the waitress were very friendly and the food were very good as well. If you’re finding a good halal Korean restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, I think you should try kfry out.
