Forage and Chatter Edinburgh

It was quite sometimes ago since I was visiting Foraga and Chatter Edinburgh. The menu might be a little outdated, you can get the latest menu from their website https://www.forageandchatter.com

We get to choose a weapon for our meal


Hot breads with yoghurt butter and pesto basil


Cured Salmon, Oyster Mayonnaise, Dill, Seaweed

The bisque tasted very good with lots of seafood

This gotta be my favourite starter, as the pig cheek was so soft


The Wine we ordered


One of the long table


Aged Beef Sirloin & Ox Tongue, Wild leeks, mushroom, damsons, persillade


The beef was cooked into perfection and the Ox tonne fried with veggies was so good. It was full of favours.


Red Deer Loin, turnip, purple sprouting broccoli, mustard seed


That was my first time having deer meat and it tasted like beef.


We ordered a side to come with our mains, the ginger & garlic Broccoli


The dessert menu


Apple, oat crumble, salted caramel ice cream, custard


It's like apple crumple with ice cream but smaller portion


Milk Chocolate Mousse, malt ice cream, marshmallow, sable crumbs


The marshmallows were too burnt for my taste.
