The Hind's Head at Bray UK

The Hinds Head is a gastropub in Bray, Berkshire. The pub dates from the 15th century, and was converted into a restaurant in the 1920s. It was awarded a one Michelin star in the 2013 edition of the Michelin Guide. It's owned by chef Heston Blumenthal since 2004.


We had our late lunch at this beautiful restaurant. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and the servers was preparing our table near the bar. The services were excellent with well explanation of the menu and good recommendation.



Fun fact about The Hind's Head: In 1947 The Duke of Edinburgh, Philip Mouthbatten, held his bachelor party at The Hind's Head prior to his marriage to Queen Elizabath of United Kingdom

Overall, it is a stunning village pub with the absolute delicious food. The staff were very professional and friendly. The food are a little pricey but the price reflect the quality of the food and the skill of the chefs.
